And Jerusalem, the city that killed its prophets and stoned its messengers, received the wrath and indignation prophesied within its pages. Notice WHEN all this was to happen:

I know Cain was sent East after killing Able (or is it Abel?). But does the Bible mention which direction Adam and Eve were sent after leaving the Garden of Eden?

It vaguely indicates that they departed eastward, because that is where God supposedly set up the Cherubim.
