I am looking into buying a Eden pure infrared heater, but then stumbled across the iHeater 1500 which looks like a better heater and a better value. Does anyone know how good it works? How is it different?
Last year I bought both an iHeater 1500 and the Eden pure gen 3. They both worked pretty well, but the iHeater seemed to put out more heat, and it was cheaper. Mid way through the winter, the Edenpure stopped producing any heat at all. Something with the heating element dying out. I have also heard that the iheater uses less watts while running. They both start up at 1500 watts, but the eden pure stays at 1500 watts, while the iheater uses anywhere from 500-1200 depending on the setting it is on. www.originaliheater.com/comparison has a lot of info about different kinds of infrared heaters.
