Is the Garden of Eden found somewhere in the Middle East between the Tigris and Euphrates?

Now, some kind of fanatics says the Garden of Eden is in a particular state in the US. Isn't this believe a stupid and unlearnt one, that came from the ages of patriarchs who tabled in literature that the curse of certain humans turn them black or change their skin colour.

    Most Christians (who believe in Creationism) would place the Garden of Eden in the middle east. Some Muslims place it near Mt. Ararat, in Turkey. Only Mormons would place it in the US, in Jackson, Mississippi.
